Virginia BioAnalytics has partnerships with research universities and transplant centers across the country to conduct research on kidney transplantation. As part of our efforts, we provide various resources to academic centers to collaborate with our projects. As a policy, any project less than $100K, and, any project in development phase, should not incur any indirect costs by universities or any other entity. Virginia BioAnalytics LLC research funding guidelines strictly requires that funds may not be used to pay any indirect costs such as (1) overhead expenses incurred as a result of a project, but that are not easily identifiable with a project and (2) administrative expenses that are related to overall general operations and are shared among projects and/or functions. In the case of applying funds to indirect costs, Virginia BioAnalytics shall retract its funding.
